The change goes beyond the scale

Healthier markers

The constant food noise tends to settle, often within the first few weeks.

More energy, better sleep

Most patients notice steadier energy through the day and deeper sleep.

Feeling like you again

The change patients mention first is usually their confidence.

Typical results

How much do people typically achieve?

Average weight loss reported in clinical studies over extended periods (typically longer than 12 months) has ranged approximately:

5–8%

With some oral weight-management medications, such as orlistat (a lipase inhibitor).

8–15%

With GLP-1 based treatments, such as semaglutide.

15–21%

With newer dual-hormone therapies such as tirzepatide, higher-dose semaglutide and other newer medications.

These are average study results and individual outcomes vary considerably. Some patients lose substantially more, while others achieve more modest results. Your doctor will give you an honest, personal picture at your consultation.

Why it matters

Even modest loss changes your health.

You don't need to reach a "goal weight" to feel the benefits. The health gains start early.

  • 5% – Clinically significant. May improve blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, fatty liver, joint pain, sleep and mobility.
  • 10–20% – Typical on a medically supervised programme, and associated with significant metabolic and cardiovascular improvement.

Results FAQs

What people ask about results.

Are these results typical, or just the best cases?
The ranges we show reflect what most patients on programmes like ours achieve, not cherry-picked best cases. Individual results vary, and your doctor will give you an honest, personal picture at your first consultation.
What results can I realistically expect in the first month?
The first month is about getting set up well, your plan, your habits and, if appropriate, starting medication. Early changes are often in appetite, cravings and energy as much as the scale; steady weight loss tends to build over the following months.
Do my results depend on whether I'm on medication?
Medication can support faster, larger weight loss when it's clinically appropriate, but it's not the whole story. Nutrition, activity, sleep and consistent follow-up are some of the strongest predictors of long-term success, and many members do well without medication.
How do results compare to diet and exercise alone?
Diet and exercise alone typically produce modest, often short-lived weight loss. A medically supported programme, combining clinical care, personalised nutrition and, where appropriate, medication, helps most patients lose substantially more and, importantly, keep it off.
What if I'm not losing weight as fast as I hoped?
Tell your team. Weight loss is rarely linear, and a slower start doesn't mean it isn't working. Your doctor and dietitian review what's happening and adjust your plan, pace, nutrition or treatment, so you keep moving forward.
What happens if I hit a plateau?
Plateaus are normal and expected. They're a signal to review, not to give up, your team can adjust your nutrition, activity or medication, and use the moment to lock in habits before the next phase of loss.
How will I track my progress?
You track your weight and key markers in the web app, and review progress with your doctor and coach at each appointment, so you and your team can see momentum building and adjust early if needed.
Besides the number on the scale, what changes do people notice?
Most members notice the off-scale changes first: quieter food cravings, steadier energy, better sleep, easier movement and a real lift in confidence. Health markers like blood pressure and cholesterol often improve alongside the weight.
How do you help me keep the weight off long-term?
Keeping weight off is built into the programme. After the 90-Day Programme you move into ongoing care that protects your results, quarterly doctor reviews, monthly coaching and nurse access, and your dietitian on hand, for as long as it's useful to you.
Is there anyone the programme doesn't work for?
It's not suitable for everyone, for example if you're under 18, pregnant or breastfeeding, or living with certain medical conditions. And results depend on engaging with the support. Your doctor consultation is there to check it's genuinely right for you before you commit, and our care coordinator offers a free care call if you'd like to talk things through first.
